On Sunday, October 11, 2009, the Alumni of the Morgan State University Choir offered a concert in tribute to Dr. Richardson’s 25 year tenure. Feel free to see some select footage of choir tributes above.

In June 2009, the Morgan State University Choir travelled to Bogota and Medellin, Colombia by special invitation of the United States Embassy in Colombia, South America. Please see link to our adventure in Colombia.
In July, 2009 the choir participated in the Ihlombe International Choral Festival in South Africa. Please see link with photos from our excursion to Johannesburg and Cape Town.


In the summer of 2006, the Morgan State University choir travelled to Prague, Czech Repulic for two big concerts! We performed two concerts with Maestro Paul Freeman, the music director of the Czech National Symphony. The concerts were part of a International Music Festival entitled "Prague Proms." "I have never heard voices of Black people before. I believe that I have now heard the voice of God!" comments an older Prague woman after hearing the Morgan State University Choir for the first time.
